2010-2011 Nissan Leaf

The Nissan Leaf is a compact five door hatchback electric car to be produced by Nissan. "LEAF" is an acronym for Leading, Environmentally friendly, Affordable, Family car. According to the manufacturer the Nissan Leaf is all electric and has a range of 100 miles in city driving. The Leaf has a 80 kW AC synchronous electric motor with a high response, a 24 kWh lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery, 3.3 kW onboard charger and front and rear stabilizer bars. Braking is done by a power assisted front disc and rear disc brakes with a four wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

The Leaf rides on 16" alloy wheels and P205/55R16 tires. Other features include LED headlights, dual power outside mirrors, chrome door handles, aerodynamic under body
cover and rear diffuser and a rear spoiler.

Interior features include the Nissan Navigation System, Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) system, digital meter cluster, palm-shift drive selector, cruise control with steering wheel mounted controls, Nissan Intelligent Key with push Button Ignition, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, auto-dimming rearview mirror, power door locks with auto-locking feature, power windows with driver's window one touch auto up/down, variable intermittent windshield wipers, intermittent rear window wiper with washer, rear window defroster with timer, dual sun visors and tilt steering column.
